This project will improve pedestrian safety by filling in two sidewalk gaps on Miller Hill Road.
Miller Hill Road is an urban street in unincorporated Washington County. Miller Hill Road funnels traffic between neighborhoods, Farmington and Gassner roads, and Hazeldale Elementary School.
Sidewalks have been installed in segments as properties have been developed. This project (#100541 on the graphic below) will install two sections of sidewalk on the east side of the street. A new development south of Georgene Court will install another section of sidewalk.
Together, these projects will create a continuous path for pedestrians on the east side of Miller Hill Road, between Farmington Road and Sonia Lane.
This is a interim safety project and is limited to two segments of sidewalk.
